Dr. Norma Coulson is a local University of Alberta graduate with a bachelor of Medical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery.
She has been delivering dental care in Edmonton since 2009.
Dr. Coulson is passionate about delivering the very best quality of care to all of her patients. Although she admits to being a perfectionist with her work, she is a “people person”. You can expect a genuine concern for your oral health and overall wellbeing that will put you at ease.
Dr. Coulson grew up on a grain farm in northern Alberta. She is proud to call Edmonton home and loves spending time in the beautiful river valley, which is the inspiration for the office. She is married with 3 children and a schnauzer named Daisy.
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Nick Stanley to River Valley Dental! He will be joining the team in February 2023. He is inviting his existing patients to see him at RVD and is welcoming new patients as well!
Dr. Nick Stanley is a proud Edmontonian, graduating from Ross Sheppard High School, and attending the University of Alberta, completing a Bachelor of Science in 2005. Continuing at the U of A, Dr. Stanley completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery program in 2009, a classmate of Dr. Coulson.
Dr. Stanley believes that the best patient care requires excellent communication and patient education. He works to stay current with the latest evidence-based dental care, and enjoys the opportunity to create lasting relationships with families he sees.
Away from the office, Dr. Stanley enjoys many activities with friends and family. He is an avid skier in the winter and in the summer enjoys evenings at the lake, biking in the river valley, and adventures with his wife and 3 kids.
